Remembering What Is Important During National Make a Difference Day

Posted by Hudsen Smith Friday, September 18, 2015
Daytona Beach, Fl - October 15, 2009 - In a time of economic trouble, it is the organizations which depend on charitable contributions that suffer the most. In recognition of Make a Difference Day, established by USA Weekend in 1992, DMEautomotive would like to take the time to dedicate a day of hard work to a good cause.

DMEautomotive has chosen a project which benefits the United Cerebral Palsy Center of Central Florida - who dedicates their efforts to the assistance of youth and adults with disabilities - and DMEautomotive employees will spend October 24, 2009 assisting in the renovation of the Center's building. The DMEautomotive team will be responsible for painting the refurbished floors of the entire center. This enhancement will not only lift the spirits of the youth and adults who benefit from the center, but will also increase the morale of the staff members who work in the center every day. The improvement of the Center will also benefit the community members who frequent the center to visit, volunteer or view the current amenities.

The newly redone floors will also represent the pride UCP has in their Center which will be beneficial in the future as they work with local and state officials for future funding. DMEautomotive is proud to be a part of UCP's center renovation as they believe in the Center's ultimate mission and the benefits they will provide in years to come.
