Daytona Beach, FL., March 14, 2011 – DMEautomotive, an industry-leading automotive direct marketing company, is pleased to announce that Gary Coveyou has been named the new Vice President, Business Development and Enterprise Accounts. Coveyou will provide leadership in identifying, negotiating, developing strategic partnerships and forming new business opportunities with OEMs and Enterprise Aftermarkets. The addition of Coveyou will further DMEautomotive’s growth and further strengthen its position as the industry leader in automotive marketing.
Prior to joining DMEautomotive, Coveyou was the Vice President of the Major Accounts Group at Reynolds & Reynolds. While in that position, he led a team through the development of strategic relationships with the nation’s largest dealer groups, successfully improved the company’s share of the marketplace and increased annual revenues.
During a lengthy tenure at Reynolds & Reynolds, Coveyou held various managerial positions with a focus on dealership relationships, strategy, planning and consulting. Additionally, he was recognized internationally as the recipient of the 2002 Strategic Account Management Association’s “Award of Excellence” while working closely with Southeast Toyota. “We are very pleased to have Gary as part of the DMEautomotive family,” said Mike Walther, DMEautomotive’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Gary brings an excellent mix of sales experience and industry knowledge, as well as strong leadership capabilities. Coveyou has more than 31 years experience in the automotive industry and holds a degree from the University of Cincinnati.
